Strawberry Lavender Jam Oat Bars

  • 1 1/2 stick of butter cut into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 1/2 cup old fashion oats
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 jar of strawberry lavender jam
  • baking pan (9x13)
  • cooking spray
  • parchment paper

Preheat the oven to 350. Spray the pan you are going to be using such as a 9x13 rectangular pan or any oven safe pan with at least an inch on the side.

Mix together the butter, flour, oats, brown sugar, salt and baking power until it's like mini crumbs and mix well but not overly.

Before you press half the mixture into the pan that you just sprayed, you can place the parchment paper into the pan, this will help to remove this yummy baked bars. Now this is the best part. Spread Infused Spreads Strawberry Lavender jam all over the center and side of the pan on top of the press in mixture, then sprinkle the top with the reminder of the oat mixture. Lightly press down on the top and slide the pan into the preheated oven. Let it bake for at least 30 to 40 minutes or until the jam bubbles up on the top and the side and you see a little brown coloring on top of soon to be devoured oat bars.

Let it cool before you flip it out of the pan onto a cutting board and begin cutting, if you desire to just dig in, just simply do but remember to share. Enjoy with a glass of milk or wine.
